Flight days to Greece and her Islands

Don't know if the title makes sense, but I'm trying to get a handle on which days you can fly to which Islands. My main reason is that I would like a holiday to an island with travel ideally Saturday to Saurday, in order to take the minimum hols I need from work.
For example, I've been looking at Crete and it appears flights are on Thursdays and Sundays only. Rhodes is Wednesday and Saturday. What about other islands? Can anyone help and I'll start a list that might be useful for others.
Thanks peeps.

Surely it'll depend on where in the UK you're flying from
use Skyscanner's month view
eg

Hi,
I'll be most greatful if you'll help with my questions below.
What do you consider is the cheapest way to get to Crete from London please? I've spotted Easyjet and ryaniar (chania) but I'll like to leave on a Tue and return on Tue in May. Should I wait or buy the ticket now? Which airlines leave on tuesday please?
I can consider flying elsewhere in Greece and use the ferry to Crete.
I'll also like some suggestions re things to do and any other advice.
I'll be there for a week.
Please pardon me for taging on this thread but I'll be ever so grateful to get advice and info from folks who know Greece.
Thank you.0
