What's a good deal?

My phone contract with orange came to an end yesterday and I gave my notice 3 weeks ago so next week will be cut off. I wanted the HTC ONE X but they could only give it to me on my current tariff If I paid £49 upfront for the phone. I know that its not that much money but I really dont want to pay anything for my new contract except the monthly tariff.
Basically I need to get a new deal quick as I need one by next week and I want to keep my current number. Can anyone tell me if I am likely to find a htc one x/ the new samsung galaxy for no more than 26 pound a month for a min of 300 mins 500 txt and approx 250 of internet? I also prefer 02 or orange but def not vodafone(bad experience a few years back). Thankyou for your help.:) I have been looking around but its all so confusing and I am fed up.

    Hi ya,

I have been looking at deals like this too, found one for my brother at mobiles.co.uk, they have a Samsung galaxy s3 for 26 a month, free with t mobile. It has 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 250mb of data.

Can't find it cheaper unless you pay for it. I don't know much about the one x though, it's been out a bit longer so there might be a few deals to be had.

    Good luck!
  • How about porting your number to another network on PAYG and wait for a suitable deal.

Either get your phone unlocked by Orange or get a cheap phone from another network.

Why porting to another network? The OP can stay with Orange and just switch to PAYG.
