Edinburgh has had similar. They were trying to fine people for entering bus lanes in order to access their driveways!

I have no problem with bus lanes and enforcing them, per se.

But, the signs and markings do have to be clear. And fining people for crossing them to access drives is ridiculous.

I know the A4/A37 junction well, but I can't remember where the bus lane signs are. IMHO, the bright red tarmac is a bit of a give away.

The photo looks odd. It looks like the approach to the "Three Lamps" junction on the A4 inbound, but they're aren't any trees dead ahead. Just an enormous stone retaining wall.

Anyway, fair play to the council for cancelling the other ticket because of inadequate signage, not an "administrative error" or just a "goodwill gesture".

PS. Oh God, I sound like a troll. I've marked myself as spam and reported myself. :)
