ATOS say I don't need a medical...HELP!!

I was supposed to sttend an Atos medical next week but as I suffer with agoraphobis, anxiety and depression I asked them to come to my home to do the medical. I was told to ask my GP to fax confirmation of my illnesses which she did.
Today I received this letter -
A Medical Advisor has reviewed the medical evidence received by this office and it has been decided that a medical examination is not necessary at this time.
All appointments have now been cancelled.
Your file has been returned to the DWP.
Has anyone else received this type of letter? Does this mean that I will continue to get my benefit or is there still a chance that the DWP will stop it?
I hate the not knowing and to be honest, it is great that I won't have to leave the house for a medical but I now have this other worry.
Please, if anyone can help me then I would be so grateful.

This just means that ATOS don't feel that a medical would add anything to the evidence, so have returned your file to the DWP, where it will be decided on the contents of the file.
In principle, this does not mean that ATOS is recommending you are eligible for benefit, but I understand that it's probably unlikely they'd do this if their recommendation is that you are not entitled.
The DWP can decide you do in fact need a medical, or to totally ignore ATOSs recommendations, though they normally do not.
Unfortunately, there is little you can do, but to wait for the decision.0 -
Your benefit (presuming ESA?) won't be stopped without you having a medical unless you refuse to have one which you have not done.

You may have been asked to attend a medical assessment for a number of reasons.
Most people are asked to attend one. It doesn't mean the information you've provided on your claim form is being treated as suspicious or that your claim will be turned down.
Your benefit claim will not be turned down without you either having a medical assessment or being offered one.0
