in Credit cards
Hi All,
The other day I looked into the rbs credit card recommended by Martin. Applied for it but then after application got accepted I realised I'd picked the wrong deal and only have it for 13mts interest free not 18mths. Really annoyed because was going to use it to pay for wedding things and 13 mth really isn't long enough. If I apply again does it have an effect on my credit rating? Will i more likely be refused? I have a good credit rating (it's not perfect cause I missed a payment years ago, just down to forgetting not due to cash issues) I do have two credit cards one with RBS that I haven't used in ages and another which i use sometime but pay it all off at once.
What do you think?

Very unlikely you'll be accepted if applying again...might be best to give them a call and see if they would give you 18 months instead of 13.0

My brother followed the link and I think it's changed to 13 months as he got the same offer as you - not the 18 months as advertised on their front page - so it wasn't you clicking on the wrong link and applying for the wrong one, they seemed to have changed their offer.0

Just checked and the offer is still on, it does say 18mth is the online offer. As I thought prob not get it, but maybe worth a call. Thanks for your feedback0

I'm going to advise my bro to ring as it's misleading to have on the front page 18 months and then when you click through it changes to 13 months, which you'd only realise if you read the terms and conditions.0
