Nappies and any other tips?

My sister uses Kiddicare Just4Bums and they ARE the cheapest- she did price comparisions per nappy on every brand she came across. There was only a couple of pence in it with some brands BUT its a months supply, and they refund you for any unused packs
No brainer really.Society always tramples down on those that are different. Abnormalities are smoothed over. I strive to be a wrinkle.0 -
People speak quite highly of the kiddicare ones - I've not used them myself since my girl's not long out of the premature micro sized ones which you only seem to be able to get in a couple of makes.
Asda again people speak highly of - I use either Pampers (Boots were doing 3 for 2 on baby stuff including nappies and of course you get the extra advantage points if you're registered for their parenting club) or Tesco own make... found the size 0 premature Tesco ones were rubbish (far far too bulky when you're dealing with a really teeny baby), but since she's gone into size 1 I actually probably prefer them to Pampers to be honest... but I'm sad and get excited to see which of the different animals is on the front of the waistband for that nappy change (little things that amuse you when you're losing the plot with an 8 week old huh?).Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
My (now 3yr old!) daughter had a Huggies shaped bum, Pampers were rubbish! Sainsburys Eco ones were great for her though but we varied as she got close to the top of the size but not big enough for the next one Tesco's ones fitted!

I swear by Lidl nappies, tried them once when we decided to cut back, 5.48 for about 50 nappies, give them a go, we even got our kids using them on the grandchildren :-)0

I tried Huggies and Pampers with my eldest but they both didn't seem to suit his shape. I used Tesco nappies with him, the one in the purple packet. With my youngest, we started using Aldi nappies and they have been fab, I wouldn't use anything else now. I looked into Just4bums but they worked out more expense in his size. Aldi's are £4.99 for 42 nappies (size 5, think you get more in the smaller sizes) for £19.96 you would get 168 nappies against Kiddicare's 150 for £19.99 (plus delivery charge, you only get free delivery on their nappies if you spend over £29.99).0

Just to prove they're all different, we hated Huggies and loved pampers! Found Huggies really bulky and didn't fit nicely whereas pampers baby dry are great. Sainsburies own brand are good too, bulkier than pampers but less than Huggies. Didn't get on with morrisons own brand.0 -
i use kiddicare ones for the day and pampers active fit for night both leak as our son has heavy wee in the night. But they are the best we have found so we shall stick with them. Morrisons recently had 54 pack of active fit for £4.99 so i have bulked up on sales

i find huggies on the big side and they are very lose and baggy and the p00 all came out the sides. Pampers are not bulky and i use these if my son has important or nice outing so it doesnt show he is wearing a nappy

We swear by Asda's Little Angels nappies. £10 for just over 100 nappies, lasts two weeks at least and rarely had a leak. Found Huggies to be rubbish but as others have said it all depends on the bum."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."
