Boots have a ridiculous rule for applying...

I just went to have a look and you have to put your postcode in when you click 'apply' so no idea how they use this. Maybe at the end of the application you get rejected. Wow if they really do this then no one where I live (and it is in East London) could get a job there as its more than 7 miles to Sainsbury.greenberet1990 wrote: »well as far as i know all sainsburys jobs in london ask if you live within 3 miles of this recruiting store.0 -
They also ask for proof of address upon interview.
However I've got around the system but I don't know how. Sometimes it doesn't ask you for a postcode if you have a reference number.
My partner does work for sainsburys and lives with me- works at sainsburys 20 miles away so also got around it- they put him through regardless of his address so I don't know why they say 'we won't recruit outside 5 miles'. It is a mystery.
I've got an interview at a different store (further away) on monday so we'll see how that goes lol.0
