Why only internet banking?
Not very MSE to not use the net to lower your spending, and learn other ways to save. Not to mention entertainment etc.0 -

Which accounts are you thinking of? Easy access without restrictions come with much lower rates than you quote.
Chelsea Branch Instant - 0.5%
Yorkshire Access Saver - 0.25%
Skipton. Is there an easy access branch account? (2.75% account requires 15 days notice for penalty-free withdrawals.)0 -

Mass market there's the Everyday Saver account from Halifax paying 2% including a 12 month bonus.
But you could get 2.8% for much the same from Halifax on the net and the links at the top of this page show better options than that.0 -

With the obvious exception of posting on this forum, do you REALLY only use the internet for banking at the moment? Also, I assume you've looked to see if you can pay less for your broadband?

Being quiet central in london ,I find loads of wifi free now & am quiet tired of spending so many hours lookin at a screen
Then you have to have so many passwords & memorable info
A bank account paying near 2-3% where you just phone or withraw from machine sounds better0
