Things to do in Looe/Polperro

Hi All,

As the title suggests really! We're staying in Looe this weekend and just wondered if anyone had any tips as to things to do? I'm a bit concerned the weather isn't going to be as warm as we'd hoped (was planning on spending time on the beach playing frisbee/bat and ball) so just wondered if anyone had any thoughts.

I think you can spend a good few hours wandering round the shops etc?

Also anyone got any recommendations for nice places to eat on an evening?

Just two adults going (despite the frisbee/bat and ball playing!) so no need to worry about child friendly activities/restaurants.

Thanks in advance

  • Hi nicoc,

There's loads to do in Looe this weekend because it's jubilee. There is a complete list on ilovelooe.co.uk. The website also has an App for Looe that works on Android and Apple iPhones which has loads of things to do and events etc. The App is free too :)

Hope this helps and you have a great weekend in Looe.

Sorry to hijack thread but what about padstow, is there an app for Padstow ?:j
  • Not sure about Padstow but pretty sure they don't have an App. They do have a good Facebook page which might be worth asking on.

Re, places to eat in Looe it depends what you like but there are some pretty good awarding winning restaurants serving all kinds of dishes.

The iLoveLooe App lists all restaurants, pubs, caf!s in the town. There are good places to eat in Polperro too.
