What does the 0% on a credit card mean?

And seeing as we are part way through the season of bank holidays please pay early if you do a manual payment to make sure the credit card get it and don't revoke the 0% deal0

Typically however, if you are on a promotional rate, then you can just pay the minimum by DD and no harm is done.
It's only once the promotional rate is over that a minimum payment may be regarded as 'bad' (as you will be paying interest by then)
That would make sense, but I wonder if you have a source for this. The CRA reports I've seen have one flag for "minimum" and one for promo rate in force. For the sake of £1, I think it's still worth paying the extra to avoid the "minimum" flag. All my payments are manual so it's no great hassle.
These systems are not that clever. I've noticed that I get a "minimum" flag on Tesco when the minimum is the same as the full balance and that's what I pay. Kinda true, but hardly negative!0 -
Thanks to all for their responses to my question. Been away so unable to check on responses.0
