I wonder how much a signed photo of Martin in a red nose would go for? :)

Yes, you can gift aid a charity auction on ebay. My DH runs a charity and when an item was listed on his behalf he got the amount gift-aided too, but it does depend on the winning bidder being willing/ able to gift aid. (ie has to be a UK tax payer)

  • Whooah, wow what a good result!!
If you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.
  • I can't believe people are criticising Martin for doing something for charity. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

You've got to say though it is quite funny:eek:

It just shows how far this sites reputation has spread. I was a "lurker" for quite a while before posting after hearing Martin on R2 early last year. He was funny and informative (no I don't work for him lol). I'm sure some of the comments on this thread were tongue in cheek but to make claims about his credibilty???? You're having a laugh, who's site do you think it is anyway:confused:
I've saved (and spent) a fortune thanks to Martin, this site and other posters on here, so if you're going to make a (badly informed and quite frankly comical) comment please have a look at why and how this site started and possibly WHO started it.
You can't go wrong with carpet bombing...
  • And you've just made me really mad 'cos I agreed with Jaffa30 and I've only just seen he's a Geordie!
