How to keep a clematis when removing pergola
Garden advice needed. We’re removing a broken pergola – but want to keep a clematis that grows on it that is vigorous and always full of sparrows. If we take the pergola out from underneath it, how can we prop it up?

Yes you should be able to prop it up with some thick bamboo canes, maybe a couple and some string.0
