'Posh' Meal Out - Derbyshire/Staffordshire - Recommendations Please!

My husband has won an award at work which will enable us to have a pretty good meal out.
We have £125 to spend (it all has to go in one place) so we would really like to go somewhere very special.
Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations of REALLY good restaurants that we can go to this weekend, fairly close to Burton on Trent (we will be getting a taxi home - dont mind spending £20 on a taxi when we have had a free night out!!) so cant be too far.
TIA!!

If you fancy a run out to Nottingham you could try Sat Baines. Two Michelin Stars.

With lunch at £75 per person then that's going to be too expensive (OP, I assume that the £125 needs to cover two people including drinks - so the definition of 'really good' is constrained by that budget ?)0 -
Mmmmm, just trying to gauge the range!
What about the Priest House?

If I were you, I'd pop down the A38 to Lichfield. Loads of nice restaurants of all types to suit all pockets and tastebuds.
Check this link out - http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurants-g186376-Lichfield_Staffordshire_England.html
Personally can recommend THRALES, Chandlers Grand Brasserie and Ego to name but three.
Also worthy of consideration near Yoxall is Hoar cross Hall ?
Hope this helps0 -
The Vicarage in Branston is quite posh and expensive and quite good. I've only been once and it was very good and it's only 100 metres from where I live.
