chek your "C:/users/<username>/" folder for one called "Favourites" that's where IE store the bookmarks/favourites you can copy paste the folder to another machine and IE will have all the same bookmarks.

The latest version of Firefox has a synch feature which (as long as both machines have internet access) will do exactly what you want.
(I cannot confirm whether synch works on Vista, but it ought to)How do I add a signature?0 -

IE, file, export, export to a file, favorites
on new laptop, create the windows cd if it didn't come with one, and do a system image backup, and recovery disc, if you want to prepare for a time when you may need them.!!
