Favourites from PC to Laptop?

Hi we have just got a new laptop and all our favourites are on our pc. Is there an easy way to transfer them from our pc to our laptop please? They are on IE and Firefox.

Thanks

chek your "C:/users/<username>/" folder for one called "Favourites" that's where IE store the bookmarks/favourites you can copy paste the folder to another machine and IE will have all the same bookmarks.

The latest version of Firefox has a synch feature which (as long as both machines have internet access) will do exactly what you want.

(I cannot confirm whether synch works on Vista, but it ought to)
How do I add a signature?

To add to Figment's post above, here's how to sync Firefox.

Alternatively, paste the following into the Explorer address bar.
    %UserProfile%\Favorites

IE, file, export, export to a file, favorites

on new laptop, create the windows cd if it didn't come with one, and do a system image backup, and recovery disc, if you want to prepare for a time when you may need them.
