Imagine if you were doing something naughty...:p
funny but this is so the app can use the camera to capture qr codes when you are out and about. i think they are hoping to do spontaneous instore offers. the same goes for using the phones location. the quidco app uses the location feature. the app needs to modify the sd card for updates because the sd card is where the app resides.
not so sure about the phone calls bit but i think they are alluding to knowing when the phone is active ie not in sleep mode or airplane mode etc.
nothing overtly sinister about any of it for smart phone users. of course we could always go back to the dark ages and burn all the phones.Wins: 2008: £606.10 2009: £806.24 2010: £713.47 2011: 328.320 -

For anyone still trying to get these - they are only £2.00 in some Clintons and Birthdays stores...0

Well I had the same trouble with the app as many others kept 'erroring' but persisted and finally my order was placed - however I have had 3 seperate emails on 3 different days from thorntons confirming my order - gonna check with bank tomorrow but hoping that this is duplicated in error or at worst that i am gonna get 3 X 60p chocolates!! just wondered if this had happened to anyone else?Became a first time buyer quite unexpectedly in June 2013!! :j0

Groveyleapyear - same emails here, 3 of them all confirming my order. It's probably a glitch in the system.0

Same here groovyleapyear, I had three confirmations and I tried three times in total, first two attempts failed (apparantly) but if I get three boxes I wont be too upset as long as it's 60p per boxComping wishlist for 2017
