Tesco Credit Card Online Fiasco

This is very interesting... I have sent credit card payments to the sort code and account number listed above... I got these details from Tesco online banking BEFORE I had received any bill fom them. I wanted to set up payments ASAP to avoid charges etc.
Fast forward and it turns out NONE of these payments have been credited to my credit card account! And, after confirming details with the bills i did (eventually) receive, the account number and sort code are WRONG and I have also got a 'late payment fee' added onto my balance. Cheers Tesco.
Anyone have any advice on what I can do to recover the payments made to the wrong account???
I realise this is an old thread but any advice would be greatly appreciated. Though I was actually going insane when I couldn't understand why I had sent a payment to the wrong account number0
