upcoming bank holidays

Just wondered, i am due a standing order into my account on friday and my tax credits are usually paid in on a tuesday.
Does anyone know when these will be credited with the upcoming jubilee weekend

Re the standing order, Friday is a normal bank working day so no change there.

Re your tax credits, go to google and search "tax credits bank holiday payments" (yes it really is that easy ) and you'll see the first hit returned is a page from HMRC which will answer your question...

...and it's good news! Your payment(s) will arrive Friday.

I'm sure that next week there will be howls of protest from people whose direct debits due on Wednesday have been taken on Saturday.

but i would have thought that everything would be delayed by the two extra bank holidays
