Getting quotes for work re claim

We had a leak under the kitchen sink last week. It completely ruined the double base unit, and the tiled laminate floor. The assessment company came out on Friday, found that the water was seeping up the walls under the units, that my flooring was a write off, as was the double base unit, the doors, the kickplates.
They removed most of the laminate floor, but below the laminate floor is lino which is stuck down fast and I was told that they don't have the authority to remove it. I was told to get 2 quotes about removing the rest of the flooring, 2 quotes to have the floor re-done and 2 quotes for new unit(s).
My question is: When I am calling to get quotes, do I tell them it is for an insurance claim? Our kitchen is over 15 years old (when the property was built), it's hand painted and not of a standard size. We realise that we may have to put money towards replacing the undamaged parts so that it all matches. I don't want to be taken for a ride.

I am curious of what you are afraid of by saying it is for an insurance claim?
Some companies wont be interested as insurers have a reputation of being slow payers... others will be happy because they know that they will get the money
Some companies will load the costs as a big fat insurance company is paying, others will reduce them because they want to be the lowest bidder
Some will try and take all and sundary for a ride others will do some under the table dealings of inflating the cost of the insurance part of the work to enable the customer part of the work be done at a cheaper price. All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
