Hey everyone looking at going on hoilday on the 15th of july which is 6 weeks time from the start of next week. As i need a first time passport i had a look on the passport website and it says you have to wait at least 6 weeks for a first time passport. So was wondering if any of you guys have got a first time passport lately and how long it took to come through the post. Dont really wanna spend hundreds of pounds on a hoilday i cant go on. Thanks

The government website here says not to make any travel arrangements until you have actually received your passport

I would get on it straight away, I had to cancel a trip to the US as I booked before I got my replacement passport sent. Dont wait another second and cross everything!0
