no claims certificate

evening all ,ive just got rid of my car which i had 7 years no claims on .now that i have cancelled the ins do they send me a no claims certificate or do you just tell the next insurer who your last policy was with thanks.;)

They should send you a letter confiming your policy is cancelled and showing your NCD.
Chase them for it if it doesn't turn up in the next couple of weeks!0 -
