Would Currys match their online price instore?

Just saw a washer dryer I want to buy on Curry's website at ~£364 and instore price is ~£450. I would rather get it from the store as it means I don't need to pay delivery and wait for it at home all day.
Does anyone know if they would match the online price in store?

I think you'll find they'll state it's an 'internet only' price unfortunately. They do this a lot where you get a much better price online than in stores. However as you say you need to add delivery onto the internet price.0 -
try looking at sites like pricerunner or Shopping.com, for the same washing machine. You might find it even cheaper with free delivery. Ok you might have to stay in for a morning or afternoon but it could save you a lot.
When I moved house I bought a load of stuff through Applicance Deals who I thought were very good.'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts'

Infact if it was the Hotpoint WD860P you were looking at (£363.12 Instore Price
£449.95), then This company do it for £335 inc delivery. I have never used them though so I would always suggest looking on the sites I mentioned before at the retailers for feedback from customers first.'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts'

YES
i have bought stuff from currys in the past I got them to price match empire direct as we have a store up the road from them in Bolton. whihc they did. I just mentioned that I don't expect them to matche their own website prices and they said yes they do so I got it even cheaper.
Just be cheeky and ask, be prepared to walk away just say you will leave it if they say no you can go back in and try a different person.0 -
Why don't you use the free delivery code that is about at the moment . I just ordered MIL a fridge and freezer and got her 5% discount and free delivery as well . PM if you want the codes or look on the discount/vouchers board .Baby Thomas born 3 months early by emergency section on 21/1/09 weighing 1lb 15ozs .
Thomas came home after 3 months and 2 days in hospital weighing 5lb 15ozs
Thomas weighed 21lb 4ozs on his 1st birthday , a total weight gain of 18lbs 5ozs !

I managed to get the internet price for a camera at the Currys in Irvine simply by asking. There was no problem, he went away, asked someone and came back and agreed. What they wont do is accept discount codes instore!!! All you can do is ask, especially on a week day when things are quiet. I managed to save over £70 so was well chuffed. Give it a go and enjoy spending the money you saved !0
