Euston to Heathrow Terminal 3 -- ?

Hey guys, bit of help of here?
Planning to visit friends at LHR T3 but im going by tube
not sure how to get there but the 'route' i have in my head is this

From Euston Take the northern Line train that says kennington station via charing cross arrive at Leicester square (1 stop) i think? can't remember, then follow the path to the piccadilly line and get the Heathrow train there?
is this right? it's been years since i've taken a tube to LHR
and i think that route is correct/right ? unless im wrong ???

Not what I would do.
Walk to King's Cross and get on the Piccadilly line there.0 -
Either route will take about an hour. Going to Paddington and taking the Heathrow Express is quicker but unless you have a deal with your ticket more expensive.0

That's what I'd do too. It's only a 5-10 minute walk, then direct on the tube. IIRC you can get the tube from St Pancras entrance, so a little bit closer too. It's a walk I do regularly. I may be only 5-10 minutes in theory but it always take me longer as I end up stopping off for a pint in one of the pubs on the way
