Well, I moved. Allbeit in a lazy manner. I've gone for a minimalist month because getting each and every item into the building involves: Park, get item out of boot, close boot/lock car. Go to door. Put item down, use both hands to get door open and hold it open with your 4rse while you pick up your item. Enter building, take 6 paces, put item down as close to the door as possible, open a door, try to move item through the door while holding door open with your 4rse. Open lift door towards you, hold open that door with your 4rse while moving your item into the lift. Go to floor. Pick up item and push through the door, which now opens the right way. Put item down, open next door, hold it with your 4rse/pick up item and go through the door. Go 2' and put item down, open next door and hold it with your 4rse while you get your item through the door..... walk 8 paces to front door, put item down, unlock front door. YOU'RE IN!!!

So .... I decided I won't bring up my kitchen stuff box, or more than 1 towel and one set of bed linen..... because everything I bring in, I have to take out in a month.

I did drive a 10 mile round trip to the storage, to get the bed linen/towel.... but I didn't get hangers because I'd have had to have emeptied out half the unit to get to wherever they're hiding. I hadn't expected to be living like this, so hangers weren't immediately at the front of the unit.

    I've been Money Tipped!
So dh got told off at work today....for being there. Apparantly the caring organisation is horrified he would leave me atm and are suggesting he works indefinitely from home till we are more sorted.

This all feels rather unnecessary, but, last niht i had vision loss for the first time in the other eye ( normal one stayed ok).

Its almost always happening at night, so i am wondering if i can minimise presuure on the relevant part of my brain by tryingto sleep sitting up.

Awww... isn't there a wedge shaped pillow you can get - I think I've seen them in Innovations type magazines. They're so ill people can be raised enough to eat/read/see but still be resting.

I had a quick Google - some seem quite pricey, but it's interesting to see the various ranges of unusual pillows you never knew existed or that you'd need: https://www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&q=reading%20pillow&psj=1&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbo=u&tbm=shop&source=og&sa=N&tab=wf&psj=1&ei=ymUWUMK5EojL0QWQnoDAAQ&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.&fp=ddc48e83889475dd&biw=1237&bih=633

Olympic travel watch. Got 9.02, got seat which is unusual for this train. Fewer commuters more than outweigh extra school holiday families. Blackfriars about normal, district line average /quiet.

Chewie may earn 3x what I do but it's ok as he does 3x more work.

Lir please take care of yourself.
    I think....

i usually get the 9.06 on a monday morning. i reckon that would have been absolutely fine this morning, but the problem for me is not getting in, but getting home. TFL seem to be predicting that canary wharf will be impossible to use from about 4pm onwards. my plan is therefore to be away by 3pm at the latest, hence needing to arrive by 7.30am.

Or, Plan B - have your tea in a pub. There's been news reports that the pub right by the Weymouth Sailing events yesterday had its worst trading day ever.... people aren't using local pubs/shops at all... maybe it's the same round your way.

poor you. sleeping sitting up is possible, as long as you have a large number of pillows and you don't fidget a lot in your sleep! i manage it now and then (after a fashion at least) when i have a bad cold.

i am not sure whether it would assist, but probably better than being bled with leeches.

possibly, but if i have dinner in a pub in canary wharf, i still need to get home afterwards. i think the prediction is that there will just be a stream of people coming out of the olympic park all evening. plus i only eat complex carbs after lunch time on wednesday.
