I guess I'm going to try watching the opening ceremony, not because I'll like it... but because I know my departed old would have loved it.... would have been enthralled by it. And would have loved and watched all the events on the telly ..... and when you've a newly departed you kind of do stuff they'd have done and feel sad they missed it.

    Anyway... enough of that gloom....

I tried to down load a kindle book for the first time yesterday and then had a panic and stopped. I might try again though this weekend.

Also, today i saw the fifty shades books in a supermarket and thought of silvercar and what a gap she leaves and how i hope she is coping ok.

Being there is my idea of hell, numb bum on uncomfortable seats next to sweaty ot people. Watching from the sofa snugled with my honey and a car plastered to me snoring is really enjoyable.

When you get a house pn, have you thought about getting a cat as you love them so?

And what you wanted to reply was:

"Oh drop dead you illiterate retard... do you really think I'm as stupid as you are? I suspect on your recent holiday the dress spent most of the time on the floor of random strangers' bedrooms, and the rest of the time you wore it you were clearly drunk and careless. ..... and probably fat to have split it in such a way. Might I suggest you shoehorn yourself into something 4 sizes bigger next time, drink less and stop strangers wrenching it off you before they manhandle your drink-riddled body into their bed."

Or you could go down the route of insulting them rather than just sticking with the absolute truth.

I agree. People talk of 'atmosphere'... 'atmosphere' seems to be the experience of long journeys, delays, queueing, sweaty people, limited views, more queueing, cancelled trains, delays ... and sore feet when you get home. Not to mention all the pickpocketing the papers say's going on.

At home... sofa ... telly ... takeaway ... loo with soft loo paper .... WINNER!!

It's too much commitment. My life's always changed a lot - and you need to be settled in a routine to be able to give them the life they deserve. My ideal would be a neighbour who has a cat that pops round when I open the door and whistle. :)
