Aren't they just brownies that aren't brown?!

    Eg http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/whitechocolatebrowni_91667

Yep, blondies are white choc brownies....so not brown. I have never made them, as to me the point of chocolate is the cocoa solids! (within reason)

Final act in prep for builders ....we have closed the trap door from the back landing. Its not very dust tight, so covered in in durries and over them a flokarty. Its not very stable either, so i am hoping no one forgets its there and walks over the flokati.....it could all end in tears!

We are back to that horrible dusty empty smell in the house along with any clothes left in the wrong place being that sort of grimy sticky feel.

Guest bedroom now completely empty but still not filled/painted.

Still presents (those that have arrived) wrapped and DD2 has signed card to DD1 so birthday can happen at OMG it's early o'clock tomorrow morning, although main present will have to wait till after school. Cupcakes are very shapeless, not sure if it was because of cheapo cases or mixture was a little to loose? Not sure if DD will take them in or decide they are too embarassing...

After builders did not show till 3PM, neighbour got very irate about them knocking out chimney on party wall at 7.15pm, can't think why...
    I think....

    Oh dear, poor neighbour.

Ours were thrilled we had told them, even if they couldn't work out why we were doing so.

Happy birthday to dd michales. For some reason i thought it was ds, so apologies if i offered bday greetings to him yesterday. Just one of those weekends. Have to do some diary management yomorrow and try and move consultant appt. which i stupidly made for architects day this week....just panic i think causing lack of reason! Don't think it will be too hard to rearrange for another day.

I think I've got the posh alert for breakfast this morning Pastures.

Please let me know if you're coming this way, and I'll do one for you! :)

£45 a pop for the non-owners of the establishment....and costs about £2 a pop to make!

    Here goes!
