You have all seen me so I can no longer use the chewie defence to hide my appearance.

PN too late now but you probably could have just used your old address and mail forwarding as a stopgap.

As black swan events happen so rarely I would be happy to be paid 6 percent for a 3 percent chance of loses...not!
    I think....

That reminds me of Whoops! By John Lanchester. He says that because house prices in America had never crashed nationwide in the history of the US, just localised market crashes, the likelihood of a systemic failure was quantified at something like six or seven standard deviations from the norm.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Just checked Amazon. That's £6.49 as paperback (including next day delivery with Amazon Prime) or £7.99 as a kindle download. Somebody explain the economics to me, please.

Speaking of Kindles, when I was last in the library someone came in and borrowed a couple of books complaining their Kindle had gone wrong and the top of the screen went black. I was so tempted to say you don't get that with a paperback.

I have no idea re the economics of Amazon GDB, however recommend borrowing it as a library book as it will be cheaper still;).

Just bought it for £4 from Bookcase London. Justification - that's only a few weeks' library fines, and I'm terrible at taking these things back.
