Not sure I should post this as I score in the 40s, which is probably more than my parents
It's yet another thing that's "skewed towards couples" though - there's a lot that's simply not relevant whatsoever. e.g. Having children, getting married, having a joint bank account. So there's 3 I'll never achieve, so just call me Petra Pan.0 -
I shouldn't be here... just been out and done a 2 mile walk round to various places and needed to send/check emails so had to come home and fire up the PC
I've actually also just had lunch
Off doing more jobs now ....0 -

i need some fashion advice. some idiot organised something which forces me to go to ascot, thankfully not royal ascot, but nevertheless we are going to be in the premier admission bit which demands that you turn up in a jacket and tie. i'm pretty sure just turning up in the suit i go to work in isn't going to be 'acceptable'. i bought a tweed jacket the other day, on impulse, but i can't work out what it goes with. it doesn't look right with a white shirt, or jeans, so what the hell are you supposed to combine it with? and can you wear a tie with a tweed jacket without looking like a massive tool.0

Oh, I know James (and middle son) are more than capable of telling their dad how useless he is. But I was wondering if they'd got as far as telling him how ridiculous he is being for blaming you. If I were in James's position I would probably post a reply saying something like
"Hi Dad. Yes, we did know it was Fathers' Day. Mum reminded us. She tried to get us to send you something, too, just like she always does. It was our decision not to, because the three of us boys can't think of anything you've done since last year's Fathers' Day that is in any way behaving like a dad to any of us. So don't you dare blame Mum. Believe me, she's tried really hard to get us to treat you with respect and appreciation - but we can't, because you really don't give us anything to respect or appreciate."
.
Spooky, that was pretty close to what middle son almost posted on Sunday.....but in ex's world, I would still be to blame because as far as he is concerned, he has done no wrong. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

I scored 26.......I'm not a garden person, rarely wear make up so don't have to worry about removing it before going to bed and I have had to put my private pension contributions on hold as money got too tight.
My parents have been asking my advice since I was, well, it seems like forever and vouchers are a pain in the bum.We made it!
