E-Cigarette choice

Hi all,

Does anyone use E-Cigarettes?

I am wanting to try one, but not really sure of suppliers etc - where is the best site to try.

A lady at work reccommended 'totally wicked' http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/510-titan-tank-products.html

but would love to hear other reviews - the choice on the net is overwhelming! :rotfl:

Your best bet is a E-GO battery and a Vision stardust by far the best you will get about £14 for a battery & £4.50 for the vision (which will last for at least a month) the cheapest juice from vapourworld.com @ £10.50 for 50ml ( happy days)

    Oooo, e-cigs, my favourite subject!

Moving to e-cigs was one of the best decisions of my life. There are many to choose from. I have an eGo, which has a 510 battery fitting, which is very common. Please don't go for a cig-a-like. The batteries don't last very long.

There are many great vendors in the uk. Vapeescape, ecigwizard, uk-e-liquid, Britvapes, to name a few. Totally Wicked is also good.

There is a super, helpful forum at...

  • There is a thread somewhere over on the health and beauty section about e-cigs. I remember seeing it maybe a week ago?
But may give you lots of information along with the replies to get on here.

An alternative - I have just given up smoking. In fact I'm looking at a week and 2 days.

I used those nicorette inhaler things. They look a bit like tampons, but they really helped me. I did consider an e-cigarette thing, but one thing that put me off is that people seem to use them as a long term thing. The 2 people I know that now use them instead of smoking have used them for over a year. While they are better than smoking, I suppose, they don't seem to be able to kick the "habit" of using the e-cigarettes.

we used totally wicked aswell, so much choice with flavours and strengths. get on of the starter kits, and a usb charger, very handy. my ExOH was smoking 30+ roll-ups a day... smoked his last rollie at midnightish, the night before he started e-cigs. had his first 'puff' the next morning, and stayed off real fags.

good luck, whichever brand you choose, its the best invention ever!!

If you go for a cigarette look a like, you will find it lasts you not that long, but I and many others wanted that first e-cig to look like a fag. So if you have to, you do.

Although many people use e-cigs as a smoking giving up tool, in reality they are a very very safer way of smoking (IMO of course, DYOR, the stuff is all over the web, AAEC is a good way of starting).

Totally Wicked is good, but can be expensive for the same things others sell for cheaper.

You will have to understand what the basic e-cig is made of, (I personally don't like the term e-cig, as it brings into mind a cigarette, when actually it's a vaporiser which turns liquid into vapour). Three parts.
    A battery, a vapouriser and e-juice.

The bigger the battery the longer it lasts. You might not think this is important when you are thinking about it, but it is.

The vapouriser turns the liquid into a vapour, many of these out there and they are usually built in with an e-liquid dispenser.

The e-juice is the thing that gives the flavour and nicotine, you can choose your juice from lots of flavours.

It's so complicated to a beginner, even though it's relatively simple TBH, this is why so many people go with the look alikes, even though they really don't work very well. Although many people have stopped smoking through using these.
Come to aaec if you feel you want more help.
