Car hire in canada

Hello

I will be hiring a car in canada at the end of June, does anyone know what docs I need??

Also whilst there I am spending 5 days in new york, I have an iPhone and am very conscious data, calls and texts could be expensive. Data is the highest priority for me, does anyone have any advice on sims I can get either here or over there for the full 2 weeks that would give me a good deal on data

Both parts of driving licence and your passport.

One OR MORE credit cards - check the hire company's website for how many they require to see.

Book the car NOW from this end using a .co.uk website - it will be FAR cheaper.

Try Avis - fully inclusive with NO excess if you book via avis.co.uk and usually competitive.

As for data, Canadian SIMs aren't very good price-wise.

Use WiFi instead, just about everywhere has free WiFi.
