Chimney problem

Hi,

We have a leak in our roof, a roofer has been up and checked and he says the problem is the chimney needs repairing.

Just wondering who is responsible as we live in a terrace house and this chimney is actually our neighbours??

I have had this problem before. All I did was tell my neighbours what the roofer had said, that there was a problem with their chimney and could they please get it repaired asap. My neigbours got it sorted but I believe that if they dont, you can take action against them as they are causing damage to you property.
