60th Wedding Anniversary Ideas

Hello,

It the grandparents anniversary, and I need a few nice Ideas.

I am doing a scrap book with old pics in and also sorted out a telegram from the queen, but what else can I do?

Its got to be cheap, or failing that not TOO time ocnsuming as I am helping organise a dinner celebration for them!

    Have you spoken to the local paper.
    Ours do a feature on the happy couple, with a bit of info about them, where they met and married and that sort of thing.

    Maybe sort out a frame for the card from the Queen to go in.

    My cousin, (for her parents) carefully cut the card down the fold and then put it into a mount and frame, so that you can see the picture of Elizabeth on the left, and then the message and signature on the right...it looked really good.

    Thanks for that! Yes I have called the paper today so fingers crossed!

    I guess I have done enough for them, but feel like I needed to do summit else!

    Telegram from the Queen? How did you sort that out? It was my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary before christmas
