    For such a small business, don't bother with an accountant.

    For mine (which I've now made dormant), I did all the filing online with Companies House and HMRC. I also used this DIY accounting which is based on Excel spreadsheets. It basically gives you the figures you need to fill in various forms such as CT600, registrations, and so on. It's relatively cheap, too.

    As others have said, you still need to ensure you meet the requirements, but then, even with an accountant, that responsibility is still your's regardless.

    Meeting the responsibilities is time consuming, but it's not difficult. In your position, I'd keep the company going and do it myself rather than pay an accountant.
