Business Deposit Account

I am a director of a small property management company. We have approximately £5000 to deposit in order to earn some interest. Is anyone aware of an instant access business deposit account suitable for us to place the money. All the accounts I have found are either fixed term accounts or are banks that I have not heard of and would not risk.
Secondly, are business funds guaranteed by the government as personal savings are?
