Tesco Power Force

Hello,
I bought a Power Force Lawn Rake from Tesco Direct 23 months ago and the top half of the handle has snapped. I took it back to my local Tesco, where I collected it from originally, with the original receipt and was told that as it was over 12 months old I would need to contact the manufacturer direct. On the box it says 2 years guarantee. I returned home, found the original instruction book and all the references to the manufacturer are Tesco Ltd. I cannot find any Power Force website to get a replacement handle, anyone got any suggestions?
Thanks.

Is there nothing that tells you how to claim under the guarantee?

If not, go back to Tesco with all your documentation, point out that they (Tesco) have provided a two year guarantee and ask them how to proceed.
You may well need to talk to TescoDirect, not your local store.

Just a small point, but are you sure it says Tesco Ltd, not Tesco plc?

Nothing else referring to guarantee. It says Tesco Stores Ltd in the leaflet.

"Power Force" is just a name that Tesco stick on cheap DIY stuff they sell. It's anybody's guess who actually made it. If it's Tesco's name on the guarantee, then they should honor it.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
