Earthing in new plastic sockets

I'm doing an electricians course so can tell you what's most important is the continuity of the earth cable itself.
SO, I'd advise wiring BOTH your earth wires into the same socket connection so if the socket unit itself fails then the earth wiring to the rest of the wiring ring remains intact and safe.
In the socket you've got there are 2 for convenience and they will be connected inside the unit anyway but better to put both cables into 1 connector so the wiring loop remains if the socket fails.
Incidentally, it may help to know that I've found Toolstation are generally better value for sockets etc: http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Electrical/WhiteWiringAccessories/d190/sd26330
