Rough cost ? Painting decorating?

Just wondered what the rough cost would be to repaint a average sized double bedroom, 3 walls. Current paint is blue so not sure if difficult?
Also, stairs seem to be creaking just wondered how much this costed roughly to repair?
Thanks just wondered what I should be looking at before I get a quote.

Unfortunately not the best DIY'er. So £150 + cost to paint is that all? Or as I painted over paper last time, will it need anything else doing? Walls seem flat, just a matter of sanding or do I need an undercoat?0
