Plant growing extremely slowly? Why?

Maybe you use the grow lights make it grow faster.0

They're notoriously difficult to get just right - if you're in a hard water area then try to use rain water or distilled water only; they can be slow growing but will fruit on fairly limited foliage and branches. They can grow well from the small root stocks but I've bought others in pound shops which have had no roots and therefore had no chance of survival.0
