Advice on non paying bidders.

Hi. After many years selling on ebay trouble free I seem to be having a run of bad luck.
The latest is a buyer who won an item over a week ago, didn't pay saying they would wait until this weekend as wanted something else I was selling and wanted postage combining. I was ok with this but then they didn't win the other item and so have messaged me saying they want to cancel the transaction on the item they did win (just over£45).
The second item they wanted is now available though as yesterdays winning bidder has messaged (with daft excuse) saying they want to cancel the transaction (£110). I have offered it as a second chance offer to my first non paying bidder and messaged them but have not had a response.
What would people do in this situation? The one with the £110 item I obviously want to reclaim my sellers fees. Would you go down the route of non paying bidder claim or just cancel it and hope they respond? I don't really want them to have the opportunity to leave feedback.
Thanks

Why give them a chance to continue to walk all over you, NPB all the transactions and get your fees back.
Remember to block them all from bidding again as well

Good point, not use to problems and have 5*DSR which I don't want to risk messing up through no fault of my own. I'll look at how to open NPB cases. Can I relist now or do I have to wait? Still have 62 watches on one item and would prefer to list sooner rather then later.0

Open UID and only relist when you have closed it and got your fees back.

What's a UID please? Just noticed that a third item I'm waiting payment on was won by someone with feedback of one and when I've looked the seller left feedback to say buyer didn't pay. I've never had this and now have 3 in a week.0 -

UID = unpaid item dispute.
have you got your seller preferences set tightly to exclude serial non payers? I think most people set it to stop people bidding if they have 2 or more strikes in a 12 month period, it might help.
Just make sure though that you do the full dispute on every one of them, you can start these exactly 4 days after sale and they can be closed exactly 4 days later. If everyone does a full dispute on these time wasters then they effectively ban themselves from ebay.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Op, you must always go through the unpaid item dispute, before offering a 2nd chance to anyone, otherwise you could potentially have 2 buyers with just 1 item.0

Thankyou everyone. Dispute on one started, other two will be started as soon as i can but set it up to start automatically at 4 days. I've check my seller preferences and tightened them up. Just annoying as had on 10 day listings, turned down buy it now requests and now still have items sat around until I can relist.0
