Cruise....advice please.

I was thinking of doing a cruise for hubbys 50th, fancied doing something different, i've done a carribean and nile cruise.

so fancied something a bit different but i'm not sure where to start looking.

Was maybe looking at going somewhere like norway.

Anyone got any ideas

what time of year are you looking at as some destinations tend to be seasonal; eg Norway is normally during our summer
Also what is your budget?
We did an amazing cruise with Azamara with the benefit of most stops being for 2 days so you get to see both day and nightlife. we went from Singapore to Bangkok then 3 different stops in Vietnam and ended up in Hong Kong.
We have a cruise with them booked for later in the year for India, Sri Lanka and Maldives. They can be a bit more expensive than some of the other lines but things like wine with meals, all soft drinks and tips are included and we manage to book all our flights independently using miles to offset some of the expense!

Looking to go end of sept beg oct, for hubbys 50th, can't go earlier i'm in turkey, and were going tenerife in nov.

Only wanted to do 7 nights, originally was looking at going to new york, but sept is way to expensive, so was thinking of trying something different.
I've looked at some cruise forums, but to be honest i'm baffled

You don't say if you need to be away a certain date or give the budget.

Norway has finished by then unless you go hurtigruten.
(a few early sept)

Celebrity constellation wine cruises might fit but they are 12nights, from £650 balcony.


QM transatlantics may come up with a deal if you wait a bit.

Loads of med options

new england roundtrip NY or boston or Boston to Quebec.

more options but budget and flights start to get bigger/longer
