Debt was sold, can I still claim PPI?

Nearly 3 years ago my partner was made laid off and as a result I couldn't pay my credit card, I got a CCJ and now pay The lewis group for the debt.Santander sent me a questionaire last week about the PPI, I sent it back and have received a letter back to say that they are looking into PPI claim. My question is as the debt is sold and i'm paying monthly, will the money go off the debt or come to me?
Thanks in advance

The redress will go to the debt.
Unless the redress is more than you owe in debt in which case I would guess you would get the balance
Cheers

You may get the redress back to you if Santander no longer have the debt and it is not a Santander collection department.0
