The last two are aquilegia - a garden plant0

I think the first one is batchelors button cornflower and the 2nd is aquilegia. There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

I'm fairly sure 4 is Aquilegia (http://www.gardenersworld.com/plants/search/name/aquilegia/), 5 is Centaura Montana (http://www.gardenersworld.com/plants/centaurea-montana/1238.html)
1 is some sort of weed and 2/3 escapes me
Sorry:huh: Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
I'm only seeing three pics
top one (the blue 'thistle' type) has been correctly identified as a cornflower.
The pink one and the pic with the three-lobed leaves are aquilegia, which I have, and also known as columbine. There are pink variants and purple but left to themselves you could get a real mixture!
They are weeds however if they are where you don't want them;)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

HEY! They are not weeds! They are very popular cottage garden plants and both very easy to identify if they self seed and you want to thin them out to just a few areas, however they are good at supressing real weedsYou never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow0

Yes the last two are aquilegia, lovely popular cottage garden plants :T At the nursery where I work they are sold at £1.25 each, how many do you have? :T0

I want to thank you also, the Aquilegia is the one that I wanted identified. A friend gave me some seeds from hers but she couldn't remember what they were called. They are lovely.0

How spooky that 3 users wanted the same plants identifying at the same time

While my pics I took yesterday were uploading to photobucket I thought I would come and make a start on my own 'Please help me identify these plants' thread. I saw this thread and thought I'd have a nosey only to find a different coloured version to the two I wanted identifying.
Now I know I have 2 different colours of Aquilegia!
I have 3 that are purple and a dark pink/white one.
Usually I scatter the seeds and hope for the best but this year I want to grow some in pots to allow them to get nice and big before putting them in the borders.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0
