Treatment for threadworm ?

Sorry for the title. It would appear that my 2 boys have threadworm. I've never come across this before and was wondering how to get them treated. Should I take them to the doctors or could the pharmacy help ? Whichever, what is the most cost effective medicine? TIA D

im in lincoln and i have been to local pharmasist in past and been 'given' headlice treatment, worms treatment and also other advise without having to see dr and it was free (wftc)
