It's probably not ebay watching your account, but one of the many ebay members that get fed up with fakes and knock offs being listed.
There are also 3rd Party IP monitoring services that actively patrol ebay for their clients.
If a dodgy seller can not learn their lesson after two suspensions, I doubt they should be allowed back on ebay at all.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
I assume you realise you can't legally sell items with the Chanel logo on, whether you mention it in the listing or not? You're effectively manufacturing fake goods and breaching Chanels trademark/copyright.Hi,
My ebay account with nearly 400 feedbacks was suspended for 7 days for listing handmade phone cases with crafts in the shape of the Chanel sign. I then relisted the auctions without any mention of CC or Chanel but was then suspended for 30 days.
It has now been about 2 months since I got my account back and am now able to sell things again.
I just wanted to know whether anyone knows how long ebay 'watch' your account after you've been suspended for 30 days?
Thanks in advance.
If you do it again you'll be looking at a lifetime ebay ban and perhaps legal action taken against you.
There's enough fake cr4p being imported from places like China and India - do we really need even more being made on our own doorstep?!?0 -
Your account will be as monitored as everyone elses (ie as stated above by reports from other members) however two suspensions means that if caught doing anything wrong in future you will probably be banned for good.
I think only a fool would risk breaking the law - and selling fakes is against the law not just against ebay rules, when almost certainly on their final warning.
Worst case scenario is that trading standards will go after you as well as they have done in the past with the dangerous 'baby bling' items that fakes Chanel and other brands.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
