Best card for £3000 balance transfer

Hi
I currently owe £3000 on a vanquis card at 49.9% interest. I pay over around £200 a month which is the minimum payment plus at least an extra £80.
I think my credit is fairly healthy now, other than the total debt owed, no missed payments or charges for over 3 years now.
Is it worth seeing if I can get hold of a card that I can transfer this balance over to, and reduce the awful interest rate so that my £200 a month goes further to clearing it rather than covering interest, and if so, which cards might consider me?
I have only ever had 1 default for £90 in around 2008.
Thanks

With a default highly unlikely, but your bank is probably your best bet, if you have managed your account well over a decent period of time.
Even if you can't get a 0% card, they may agree to a loan which you could use to pay off the card and use the £200 to pay off the loan, at least you will know exactly how much you are going to have to pay back.
If not, then I can't see it happening, but I do wish you luck as £3000 on a sub prime card is utter madness.
Allowing such a balance to run up on such a card, might suggest you are not exactly living within your means.0 -
I did not ask for an opinion on my life, simply if this was something that would be possible. I live on an increadibly tight budget to clear debts run up by an ex-partner and reduced by around £7000 in 3 years.
Apart from your completely un-necessary comments on my life and what a spender I must be, thank you for your suggestions.
Also, I did not say I was looking for a 0% card as I am aware this would be difficult, but rather one with a lower interest rate0 -

You might not like the comments, but this is exactly what a lender will think when you apply for another card. No-one is disputing what you're saying is true, but they will take your story with a pinch of salt. Try not to take the comments too seriously.0 -
if you go public on a public forum you are going to get comments on your life.0

Creation may accept you even with the default, they do 9 month / 12 /18 month 0% even with defaultsDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
