Hi
I have a car that i insure for myself any my wife. I used all my no claims (6 years +). I also have a company car that i have had for 5 years.
I am now looking at getting rid of the company car and buy my own car. my problem is i need to insure both cars now!
Do i split my no claims between cars?
Is there any companies that will let me insure both cars under the same insurance and no claims discount.?
Would it help if my company gave me a letter to say i have had no accidents or claims for the last 5 years?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Can't comment on the rest but I got a letter from my employer, which my insurer took to discount my policy, as if I had full no claims.
I still have to earn my years as before though, but I didn't have a policy running along side my company car.
Maybe try direct line.I have a cunning plan!

I have both my wife's car and my car insured under 1 policy with Frizzell/Liverpool Victoria. They did them both under my discount at 75% protected and also included a 'second car' discount. As far as I know, if I later decide to move 1 car somewhere else, the number of years claim free a person has been is the number of years no claims discount that person will get with a different company.
The downside is that effectively both cars are due for renewal at the same time.0
