                    Hi,
I recently passed my test last year, and am looking to buy a car for work / leisure purposes. I went bankrupt a year or so ago so I have been unable to get a car because of this.
I am soon to be made redundant from my job, so when I get some sort of payout, I will be able to afford a car and also a job further afield.
I have been looking to to a car, probably a 1.2l for about £5000 approx. I have been looking on comparison sites to get an idea and been quoted around £800 / £1000 for the first year.
I just want to check if anyone has had any similar experiences or know of the best place to get a quote for the best price?

If you look on the main site there is several articles on how to legitimately lower your premium and the best places to check for premiums0

Make sure you get a company that dont ask have you even been bankrupt.
My sister phoned one and the premium shot up because of that. Maybe it was a time issue or maybe they dont want customers who have been bankrupt?
Its been said on the bankruptcy board, It sticks with you for life now. If you killed all your creditors you would only have tyo declare that conviction for x amount of years.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
