Investment Comparison Website(s)

Are there any websites available to the general public, which permit comparisons between investment funds of different companies?
For example I took out single premium linked investment bonds in Oct 1993 with London Life.
The first is invested in units of UK equities and has increased in value by 77.6% in 18 years to the last statement I have received.
The second is invested in units of International equities and has increased in value by 53.63% in 18 years to the last statement I have received.
Since the FTSE 100 seems to have almost doubled in the 18 years referred to, this doesn’t sound the best place for my investments, so where should I look?

trustnet and morningstar are the main two. Their free feeds are likely to be limited in data over the paid for versions but typically you can get most of what you need from them.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
Morningstar is now rubbish as a lot of the stuff you have to pay for. It used to be my #1. Now trustnet is.0

I wouldn't agree that the change to the charging structure at Morningstar is that different than before. The main change has been the X-Ray feature for a portfolio is now subscription only, free portfolios limited to 5 and that's about it afaik. Most of the premium features are relatively new offerings and from what I have seen are of limited value. Trustnet is also good imho although whilst I've found the Morningstar portfolio feature to be the better of the two, each have a few differences that might make you use both.
Morningstar is at http://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/
Trustnet is at http://www.trustnet.com/
Others that might suit you are the London Stock Exchange, Financial Times and / or Investors Chronicle. Of course a good broker should also be providing a decent data service so it may be worth looking at what is available there.

The difference is probably the result of charges on the respective funds. We have a climate emergency and need to re-think investing strategies to avoid sectors that are part of the problem such as oil & gas and embrace climate-friendly options such as renewable energy.0

Just double checked and saw that the 'Fund Compare' facility is available to all users, handy little tool to some basic screening with a few similar investments.0
