Looking after solid oak kitchen worktops

Hello

My OH and I bought a house last year which has a lovely kitchen in it, with solid oak kitchen worktops. trouble is we really have no idea how to care for them, or what products we should be using on them to ensure they have a long life.

Now, one year on, they are starting to look a little more dull with some small areas looking more worn away than others, and I'm not sure what we need to do about them

Any ideas? :D

Thank you

Fine grade wire wool and Danish Oil.

Gently rub the whole worktop with both. Leave a little excess on for an hour, then wipe it clean with a lint free cloth.
