Fridge Freeezer In Cupboard

Is it possible to put my fridge freezer in a cupboard where my central heating boiler is. It would be placed about 16 inches away from the boiler. Please advise.

  • Hi,

don't think it would be a good idea, it would mean your fridge freezer working overtime and also you need a good bit of air circulation, there is quite a bit of heat comes from back of fridge freezer.

It would have to have plenty of ventilation.

A fridge or freezer generates a lot of heat in its operation.

A lot of people do not realize that a freezer with its door open and set to run in an empty sealed room will warm the room up and not cool it.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.
