They will have to rewrite contracts. Whether landowners will [STRIKE]want to give[/STRIKE] realise that they're giving these crooks such powers is another issue.

    Fixed that for you. :)
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)

Exactly. By now having to explicitly give a written authorisation, the landowned now cannot wash there hands of what the PPC does by saying 'oh its nothing to do with us, they run the car park'. They never HAVE been able to do that in reality, since they are liable for the actions of there agents, but now this removes the last fig leaf. and they now cannot absolve themselves from blame for outrageous charges. Big supermarkets will not want to do this as it potentially upsets there customers and there 'friendly' image.

Aside from the fact that some supermarkets are in no position to effectively sublet a car park they do not own any way. One wonders whether we shouldn't be asking questions of Disabled Motoring UK again and why they are prepared to be associated with these organisations.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

Indeed , a point often missed, and worth checking as it is a hornets nest for the PPC/Landowner, is that planning permission is often granted with the caveat that the car park is free. If they've been naughty and charging ............

And i would think that Disabled Motoring UK has been lured into such dispicible associations by the promise of the odd brown paper bag.

I've added my comment. You can see that the people at Disability Motoring have been brainwashed by BPA propaganda. Mind you they are members of the BPA so they have to tow the party line.

They don't seem to be able to tell the difference between council PCNs and PPC invoices.

    dmukadmin says....
They are legally enforceable and it is you misleading disabled people by saying they are not. Some cases are won some are lost but you are wrong to say they can be “ignored”. When the law changes in October then there will be a requirement for the keeper to give the drivers details (subject to an appeals service being introduced) so then there will be even more reason for people not to ignore PCNs.
a suitable reply with links proving that they are not enforcable ( if possible ) and why there not enforcable may be needed.

looks like some education is required, also not all disabled motorists have blue badges...
